I want to sell back my phone to Alcatel for such miserable device they've marketed to consumers. My phone is less than 2 weeks old and still brand new without a scratch. Will they take back and offer me a refund even with a loss of 20% purchased price. I bought this phone thinking that its hardware was well worth the price offer. But who knows the software updates are so lousy that less than 6 months they already plan on abandoning it? Yet the developers are refusing to allow users to root their phones.
If you're a user, aren't you angry to buy a piece of useless junk that its manufacturer tries to dictate what you can do with it? They keep giving lame excuses as per we don't allow you to root your phone due to security concerns and if you do it voids your warranty when even Google official NEXUS phones are allowed to be rooted! What is this nonsense? I'm more concerned about the company's ethical security statement than anything else.
